As the director of the Legacy Cellar Foundation, Garth is responsible for working with the world’s most passionate wine aficionados to transition their collections into transformative gifts to charities and causes they care most about. A commanding name on the US wine scene, Hodgdon is a certified Advanced Sommelier, who was named one of the "Best New Sommeliers in America" by Wine & Spirits magazine back in 2010 and whose previous experience includes being the US Ambassador for Krug Champagne and sommelier of Thomas Keller’s Michelin-starred Bouchon Bistro in Yountville, California.
San Francisco-based Master Sommelier Desmond "Des" Echavarrie is CEO and founder of Scale Wine Group, that helps family-owned wine producers from Northern California, France and Germany build wine brands through wholesale strategy. He began his sommelier career in wine at age 20, won the prestigious Chaîne des Rotisseurs Young Sommelier National Finals in 2004 at age 22 and the U.S. Top New Somm competition in 2011. That same year, he took a position as a sommelier at the famed The French Laundry restaurant and passed the MS exam in 2012.
